Administration
The senior administrative team oversees the academic programs, financial affairs, and business operations of the School of Continuing Education.

Mary Loeffelholz is dean of Cornell University’s School of Continuing Education (SCE) and a professor in the Department of Literatures in English in Cornell’s College of Arts and Sciences. As SCE’s dean, Loeffelholz serves as a key member of Cornell’s academic leadership team, partnering with deans, vice provosts, and vice presidents to design and implement innovative academic programs, guide strategic growth in enrollment, and advance university initiatives in support of faculty and students. Daniel Kratochvil supervises academic program development, delivery, and quality assurance for SCE.
Ben Balkaya manages operational functions and resource allocation by overseeing SCE’s student services, finance, human resources, and information technology teams.
Beth Beach serves as the executive staff assistant to SCE’s three deans, providing high level administrative and project support.
Academic Affairs
Academic Affairs operates the Precollege Studies program and coordinates with academic departments across campus to offer Cornell for-credit courses during the Summer and Winter Sessions.

Karolina Fučíková oversees academic quality and development.
Sam Elebiary directs the Precollege Studies Program, overseeing strategy, planning, and operations to provide high school students with Cornell University course experiences.
Chris Hinman administers proposals for courses at Cornell during the Summer and Winter Sessions through collaborations with academic departments across the university.
Collins Peters represents SCE in the administration of cooperative arrangements, such as with the National Education Equity Lab and Shoals Marine Laboratory.
Ann Morse serves as SCE’s chief communications officer and is responsible for developing and directing communications and marketing strategies that advance SCE’s goals.
Jamie Calabris designs and produces visual materials, coordinates digital marketing campaigns, and guides metrics reporting and analysis.
Shelley Preston writes and produces stories, videos, social media content, advertising materials, and more for SCE and oversees Cornell’s summer events series.
Student Services
The Student Services team manages admissions, academic records, and student support services; collaborates with Cornell schools and colleges to enroll current Cornell students in the Summer and Winter Sessions; and provides comprehensive services for School of Continuing Education students year-round.

Emily Ivory oversees admissions operations, registrar functions, and student support services, collaborating with partners across the university to continuously improve SCE’s student services.
Amie Goble manages student registration and enrollment, supports international visiting non-degree students, advises current and prospective students, and guides policy and procedure development related to academic records.
Sam Hamilton develops and maintains admissions technology and provides analysis and system support to internal and external users.
Michael Burt serves as the primary advisor for SCE’s non-degree students and supports admissions processes and enrollment operations.
Ashley Keister supports administration, admissions, and enrollment operations; provides guidance to current and prospective students; and responds to wide-ranging inquiries as a main point of contact for SCE.
Nancy Hardesty supports administration, admissions, and enrollment operations, and serves as the primary point of contact for SCE.
Tiffany Jordan manages financial transactions, conducts reporting and analysis, and ensures compliance, while supporting budget preparation and contract management for SCE.
Mitch Wiedemann, a user interface/user experience specialist, works on systems to support the Student Services team.
Human Resources
The School of Continuing Education’s Human Resources team consults and advises on HR issues and concerns, oversees SCE staff and student employee recruitment, and develops and implements HR strategies and data systems for SCE programs.
Ruby D. Brown serves as the HR professional focusing on SCE’s strategic HR goals and leading policy development, employee experience and belonging programs, and various projects aimed at enhancing operations.
Bailey Rose provides data analysis, reporting, and transactional support for human resources, finance, and administrative operations, ensuring university compliance while fostering collaborations across campus.
Finance
The School of Continuing Education’s Finance Office provides essential financial management, budgeting, and compliance services to support SCE’s diverse programs and ensure fiscal responsibility.

Jesse Kreager serves as SCE’s Finance Manager and is responsible for overseeing budgeting, financial operations, and compliance to support the school’s wide-ranging programs.
Deanna Eastwood supports SCE’s accounting, budgeting, and reporting functions, ensuring compliance, managing financial processes, and collaborating with university departments and stakeholders.
Beth Underwood performs accounting transactions, supports program reconciliation, provides payment assistance, and ensures SCE compliance with university policies.
Information Technology
The IT team provides a wide range of information technology services and solutions to support the School of Continuing Education’s operations and goals.
Graham Dobson oversees information technology for SCE, developing and maintaining internal systems and collaborating with university partners and vendors to provide solutions that advance SCE goals securely and sustainably.
Melissa Cole focuses on in-house applications and website programming, database management, data visualization, and system administration.
